Sheri, I too hail from there ( idyllic 60's childhood in Halifax and The Maritimes, later a Montreal suburb, currently elderly parents and relatives residing in Toronto, some relatives in Winnipeg, Victoria. We must sadly say 'kaddish' for this once decent country. It exists no more.

p.s Next July I will G-d willing mark and celebrate fifty years since making aliyah. It's been a long and arduous journey with a great many challenges. I cannot for a minute imagine having remained in Canada. I knew I had no future there.

Au revoir! Remember that woman chanting "The Final Solution is coming", at Concordia the other day? Well, turns out she operated a coffee shop at the Jewish General Hospital (!!) in https://x.com/hashtag/Montreal?src=hashtag_click, but they have now terminated her franchise agreement! Bravo to

Oh dear. So sad. And scary. As terrible as the sirens are, aren’t you glad you are here?

This is so heartbreaking 💔.

Canada has become a laughing stock amongst “real” countries and a friend to those aligned with evil. I hope I’m overreacting and am wrong.

Dear Sheri, it's shocking. I stopped watching as soon as these videos came online. It'll put me in depression. I can relate to your feelings when I see what's happening in the Netherlands, where I was born and raised. And being extremely ashamed being a French citizen. I don't even dare bringing up the subject.

All this violence from superficial young minds parotting what's trending and what they're being taught in universities - it's heartbreaking. And scaring. I cry with you. Wishing you strength and love.

Absolutely disgusting and the fact that the so called leader of Canada has as yet not spoken a bloody word about it. Remember everyone just how quick he invoked the Emergency act over some protesting truckers and now about Montreal "the sound of crickets from Ottawa is deafening"

Trudeau has disgraced our Country and the principles we have stood up for and he remains in office thanks to a pretend socialist delaying an election to qualify for a pension. How low we have sunk.

This is shattering. Growing up in the USA Pacific NW near the border with Vancouver B.C. we always thought of Canadians as politer, kinder versions of ourselves. How could they descend into this vile anti-Semitism ... it will not pass here ...over my dead body ... God be with us ...
