But they were only calling themselves palistinians after 64. Isnt it a good idea to call them what they naturally would be called? Arabs maybe, militant extremist arabs, something that fits, is applicable, and is true?

Yes, it certainly is a great idea to stop using the term, but we have all (even Israeli Jews) been so conditioned to use it that doing so consistently is much harder than people realize.

I stumble over my speech when I find myself slipping into using the term, ‘Palestinian’, and it can get rather awkward for everyone if the subject is integral to a conversation, rather than a single sentence.

Over the past 5-6 years, more and more people in the Western world have come to realize that our lives have been subjected to highly sophisticated psychological operations (PsyOp), and they are usually disgusted by that realization. I mention that because it helps me to remember that the ubiquitous use of the term, ‘Palestinian’, and the ease/comfort we all have with using it, is a prime example of the potential effectiveness of such psychological manipulation. As I hate being manipulated by anyone, and hate being party to furthering it in interactions with others even more, remembering that it is a PsyOp provides motivation to go through any social awkwardness involved in resisting it. It isn’t easy, and many people fail to realize its significance, but I believe it is more important than ever to break free of this particular habit.

I call them Palestinian Arabs because that’s a what they are. The other thing the world has got used to doing is calling Judea & Samaria the West Bank. I see it all the time even in Jewish media.

One of the best short courses I've ever taken. And I got a certificate no less. Wowzers!

"Were they massacring Jews to resist the future occupation?"

Ironically, yes, they were. They were prophylactically massacring Jews to drive Jews out of British Mandate Palestine and dissuade new Jewish immigrants, thus asserting Arab dominance there, thus preventing creation of a Zionist state - which would by definition (their definition, anyhow) be an occupier just like the British.

Typical economy with facts. Look again at what is said in the Balfour Declaration and the UN two state proposal.

As I've said before until Israelis accept their part in creacting this conflict and therefore their responsibility for resolving it there will not be a lasting peace.

So it's all Israel's fault according to you in this comment.

I have examined those two documents and more. And I guess you never read the Benny Morris article I sent you by email. You don't like discussing, you just like blaming Israel.

Sheri Oz, this is a very short, but accurate description of what is happening in Yisrael and around the world. I hate it when Israel is considered the bad guy for defending its land. I am not sure what is going to happen, but I want to be part of it. See you guys soon.

Thanks for telling me -- I just found out my email deliveries were suppressed for some reason (by the AI chat) and I have to wait until a real person gets back to me by email. This may take some time, unfortunately. OOF.
