She’s a communist. For communist, facts aren’t important, propaganda is.

Maybe. I still want to fact-check their statements and not just blanket dismiss them. Besides, I did not know she was a member of that party until I got home and began researching for this article.

I’m interested in hearing about the other side. So thanks and please continue.

Expand full comment

There is no "other side." There is a decent country building a productive society and a pack of mongrel savage scum who raise their children to be Jew-killing terrorists.

Period.

I stand corrected. You are 100% right.

C'mon y'all "mongrel savage scum"??? There is an echo chamber effect here--language gets more and more extreme and no one even notices. But that kind of language is not cool. Dehumanization is not ok. Also despite the best efforts of Hamas etc many children have grown up to decide differently. I hope many more get the chance to.

I reply to Anonymous Cowards once, “Ivy.”

There is no echo chamber here or anywhere else, just cool, calm logic match with an acceptance of empirical reality.

Islamist terrorists have tried to kill me four times that I know of. 11 September 2001 was the most recent attempt. They took a shot at it in Morocco and South Africa before that.

How does a moral, rational person “dehumanize” a group of people who have had thousands of chances to alert the IDF to where the hostages are and have not done so? The Fakestinians took care of dehumanizing themselves long ago when they focused their kids on killing Jews instead of building productive lives.

Fuck every last Fakestinian. They are lucky they are dealing with the IDF and not Bashar Assad who just starved 400,000 of them before tossing chemical bombs into their enclosed neighborhood, a true genocidal act which not one single Western Hamas fangirl marched in the streets to protest.

Every single bad thing that has happened to Fakestinians in what used to be Gaza is their fault. Period. This is what you get if you are a poisonous society who focuses on killing Jews and destroying Israel, instead of raising productive children to pursue productive lives.

I have zero sympathy for any of them, so long as 101 hostages are still being held. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Every single child or adult who dies as a result of this war is the fault of the Fakestinians. They could have stopped it at any point by surrendering and releasing the hostages.

Better yet, on the evening of 6 October 2023, they could have said, "Ah - screw it. We're going to get an adrenaline high, maybe rape a few pretty Jewish girls and then Armagedón will come visit my mom's house. Is this really worth it?"

But they did not so all the blood of any harmed children is squarely on them.

I agree with you. At the same time, it makes me sad. I don't know if you can understand that.

Expand full comment

Of course I understand empathy. The little kids who are being harmed because Hamas puts them in harm's way is heart-wrenching. But absent a change in Fakestinian culture, today's cute rug rat is tomorrow's jihadist.

"Let me just end by saying that Kamal Adwan Hospital would be fully operational and untouched in any way had Hamas not decided to violate the ceasefire that was in effect until 6:30 Saturday morning, October 7th, 2023." Or that the Palestinians of Gaza have been complicit with Hamas since October 7, 2023.

Thanks for looking closely at this accusation. I’m not surprised by the results of your analysis. (Mumbling “what a load of bullsht” as I leave the room)

I understand the sentiment "if I were to learn that the IDF committed war crimes in Gaza, I would want to know". But why to bother and expose yourself to a "conference" that will give no knowledge and lots of exasperation?!!

You may be 200% sure that if there was a shade of suspicion of any war crime our military prosecution will be with it all over the news. Getting them to confirm there was nothing behind the claim is another story.

Remember these guides from Sde Teiman? The last we heard they were all released home with some restriction and allowed to work, and it was a long time ago. Were they cleared of all charges? Restored in their place of service? Or was any one of them convicted of anything? Not a word now, but they arrested them in such a way that for 2 days all the media was talking about it.

By the way, don't you want to make it the subject of your next research? What happened with all these investigations against our solders?

yes, I do want to explore that.

I appreciate your efforts to provide us rational and cogent reports relating to Israel and events happening there. I think you do good work and always appreciate your posts.

There is now reporting (https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/article-826429) that the hospital is just fine, a bunch of Hamas terrorists were arrested - figures vary from 40 - 100. An ambulance driver at the hospital stated Hamas routinely uses ambulances, hospitals, and schools to move and house Hamas operatives, materiel, and operations centers. The 40 who were arrested were fighters caught in a group that was evacuating Jabalya pursuant to IDF warnings.

Thanks for all you do.

Thanks for the link to the JPost article. Had I had that article when I wrote mine, it would have saved me a lot of time researching.

I absolutely do not believe one word coming from the Palestinian side. All they have are kidnapped Israelis, some fighting savages, and lies.

Sad.

It's Taqiyya. One person telling another that a hospital was "blown up" may be exaggerated, but when that person passes it along, they think it is a fact.

And even if Islam forbids one Muslim lying to another, vilification is another matter.

Fundamentally Jews have a choice to make regarding what we are willing to do in order to survive. Gandhi, the great pacifist said, “The calculated violence of Hitler may even result in a general massacre of the Jews by way of his first answer to the declaration of such hostilities. But if the Jewish mind could be prepared for voluntary suffering, even the massacre I have imagined could be turned into a day of thanksgiving and joy that Jehovah had wrought deliverance of the race even at the hands of the tyrant. For to the god fearing, death has no terror. It is a joyful sleep to be followed by a waking that would be all the more refreshing for the long sleep.”

Reference: http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/History/JewsGandhi.html

So, do we choose the "long sleep" or fight for our lives? Do we want to live enough to be willing to do terrible things of that's what survival takes? Frankly I see the enemy laughing at us. They savagely attack our people, raping, burning, murdering in the hundreds. And then we bring them food and medicines and join worldwide rallies on theit behalf. Gandhi be damned, I'm not willing to into his long sleep. I surrender my moral highground and trade it for our fight for survival.

Thank you Sheri for exploring this area, but honestly war is ugly, and if Israeli soldiers are sometimes ugly, I understand. They are humans fighting for their families and if they cross the line sometimes remember they wouldn't be doing this if not for October 7th.
