An academic make-believe story for the gullible scholar. To date, 7518 scholars have cited this paper as if it tells the truth. Let us look at what it says.
On the topic of the Law of Return and its status as a normative and quite common law in many democratic states, you may want to read: Israel and the Family of Nations: The Jewish Nation-State and Human Rights by Alexander Yakobson and Amnon Rubinstein.
Your article is very interesting. As a Zionist who thought (an thinks) the Nation State Law was a self-defeating exercise that did useful things for Bibi in terms of catering to his political base but overall changed nothing, I find your perspective thought-provoking. Like so many problems in the Bibi-era, the harsh feelings generated by the Nation State Law have not been addressed. One more can Netanyahu kicked down the road hoping it will go away.

Thank you.
