I have had contact with Bassem Eid now for many years, in fact mention him in a couple of past articles.

I look forward to your critique of the “settler violence” claims which I sense are overblown.

I have already done a few and republished one on Substack. I will, with time, republish the others and do new investigations of the claims I see being made recently. In the meantime, here is my most in depth investigation that I conducted:

Sheri Oz, thank you for investigating and then enlightening all of us!

Baseem Eid stands out above the rest.

It’s worse than that. They aren’t inventing excuses, but justifications.

Try this survey of Palestinians: if the world could go back to how it was on October 6, 2023, with same borders, with Gaza intact, with no new deaths on either side and no hostages: would you want that?

Some would and some wouldn't. Cannot even guess how many would be on each side, but a good question for a survey, for sure!

Honestly, I do not trust any muslim, not one, including children! I am a cynic and see nothing bad to be the one. I have a life experience as a support document for my cynicism.

I am sorry for your degree of cynicism yet I understand it. I am not quite that far gone (yet?).

Maybe I am older than you, 68, maybe because I am from the former USSR and have seen and lived in such cynical political system, maybe because I have read enough about islam, including koran. I am not really sure. Just do not think it is bad to be cynical. All my idealism left behind many years ago.

Actually, I am older than you -- 73. Being from the former USSR would go a long way toward making your more cynical than me. I know about Islam and the Quran. I just don't include ALL Muslims in the same bag. There are loyal Muslim Israeli citizens.

IMHO I think that people in their right minds could not follow this ideology. If a person born in islam it is forever for this person as not a lot of people want to live in fear all their life. My apologies but I do not believe in loyal muslims.
